He's a full-time musician and a member of Something Else, Next Best Thing, The Starliners, The Headliners (formerly Memory Loss), Champagne Jazz, the house band running The Hawkesbury Hotel Windsor Jam Nights as well as filling in on bass or guitar for countless other cover and original bands and projects.

Possessing some ability to play songs on request he once became known as "Mister Jukebox".

Grae trained with Mal Eastick, and has performed extensively throughout Sydney and NSW, including Sydney Star City Casino, The Basement and Acer Arena.
